Respite providers who will provide services in their own homes will participate in a screening/home study process either by one of the participating agencies or the Respite Coordinator. The home study process will include:

1)	An orientation to the Huron Respite Network
2)	Completion of an Application from one of the participating agencies or the Huron Respite Network
3)	Completion of a questionnaire for respite
4)	Individual/joint interviews with parents and children
5)	Reference Checks - including Police and CAS
6)	Housing and Safety Requirements
7)	Fire and Health Inspection
8)	Medical Information
9)	Service Agreements
10)	Release of Information
11)	Oaths of Confidentiality and Reporting of Abuse
12)	Insurance
